NORTH FACING CAMERA
Two solar powered 4G video solar cameras mounted on the same pole – one facing north and the other facing south - covering the Traffic Light .
The surveillance system streams live video through the daylight hours to a traffic controller in an office 2km away at the other end of the road-works who remotely controls or overrides the traffic light.
SOUTH FACING CAMERA
A qualified traffic controller costs $50/hour and this unique surveillance system replaces that function with solar cameras.
The 2 cameras are paid off within the first month of operation.
